Who Will Win the SmartHome Wars?

Have now been using and testing both the Amazon and Google home ecosystems in the Smart Home since their inception.  As a user, designer  and developer.   And before that as well, how assistants can provide smart services in stores and supporting employees.    And also how services support brand equities.   How new AI advances,  especially in conversation interaction are changing this.    Watching Chinese and Korean efforts.   All these topics have often been covered in this blog.   Had not heard the term 'Service Tether'  before,  but do see the idea.      Below article covers that recent topic, with supporting graphics:
