More Kroger plans locally for digital expansion.
Kroger Co. will create a digital headquarters in downtown Cincinnati.

The Cincinnati-based grocer (NYSE: KR) received unanimous approval of an incentive agreement for the project, which will eventually include 1,000 employees, from Cincinnati City Council on Wednesday.
As a result, the company’s digital team will be housed in Atrium Two at 221 E. Fourth St.
Kroger will move about 500 existing employees from its Blue Ash location to Atrium Two starting in July along with 100 employees from its headquarters on Vine Street. The new office is expected to house more than 1,000 workers in the next three years.
Kroger’s technology campus is expected to have a $40 million payroll following the company’s $5 million investment in leasehold improvements, furniture, fixtures and equipment. .... "
