Exposed Cloud Databases

Been following TWIT Security Now podcasts.   In part to start thinking about the risk element of data as an asset.  Came upon this quite alarming cloud security  podcast below.  Clouds and IOT are great concepts, but not if they are completely unprotected and exposed online.   And, of course once their data is downloaded, they can be used for mischief forever.   This talks about the exposure of many billions of records, in particular from smart home implementations, but the danger goes far beyond that.  In some cases files from large enterprises about current business.  Very troubling.
