Desktop as a Service

In the Cisco Blog.  Virtualizing the desktop.  Desktop as a service, DaaS. Interesting idea I had not thought much about.  My desktop has become increasingly complex with changes in operating system, multiple databases, machine interactions and client interaction.  I need to have ways to make this simpler.
