Archiving Everything

Remembering being surprised in 2010 that the US Library of Congress was archiving Twitter.   Lots of details about that effort here.  So many data mining opportunities will exist based on this data in the future.  Is that scary?  It is less surprising now, after so many people have joined up.  I continue my own 'experiment' with it,  three years old, largely using it to drive traffic, but now have also started to use it to do quick communications. There are today many fewer criticisms of it just being silly.
