Google Makes Another Play for the Social Web

Yes, Google +  is another attempt.    Buzz, the earlier approach has slowed down and I rarely even go there anymore.  There are some good ideas in Google+, in particular an easy way to set up connection groups, such as friends, family and office.    Also closer connections to mobile interaction.   Is it too late to beat Facebook?
