IBM's 100th Anniversary
In school I was offered a job working with IBM on disk drive analysis, but I went in another direction. In my first enterprise job I worked with their optimization software to locate plants and improve warehouse operation. Later the same software helped us manage woodlands in Alberta. My first home personal computer was an IBM PC. It is good to see all the mentions of IBM this week, their hundred year anniversary. Despite the bumpy road at times, they have done some amazing things.
