About Emotional Faces
Revisiting About Face: The Secrets of Emotionally Effective Advertising, by Dan Hill. What is more primal than a face? A good portion of our brains are devoted to interacting with faces. Face perception, recognition and processing are an important adaptation mechanism. They help us be social and understand how we relate to other parts of our network. How can faces be interpreted in terms of emotional interactions? I read this book when it came out last year and have had cause to revisit. The Amazon link above has a look inside.
