Virtual Supermarkets
I have spent some time over the years looking at how to build virtual retail spaces, everywhere from the classic local grocery store to large hypermarkets, to the intricacies of understanding the last hundred yards of the supply chain. When examining the value of RFID tagging we built models of the store to understand the technical details of its operation. I have also done several research efforts for manufacturers and retailers on the value of building the virtual market. And also looked at understanding the potential gamification of such systems. Here most recently a look in Research Magazine at some of the players in the space of market simulation. With interesting videos. Good effort, but there is much more to be said about their application. Be glad to talk that, contact me.
