Future of Manufacturing is in Amerca

Article quoted in length by MJ Perry.    Saying that advances in robotics and artificial intelligence along with remote manufacture through 3D printing will drive manufacturing costs down in the West.  I would add new analytics that allow the product to be efficiently linked directly to consumption need.  Though I don't see how all this will not be used in China as well.  The linked article and other references are useful.
