A Checklist for More Persuasive Presentations, by Dorie Clark
Fundamental, but also short and well put HBR piece. Include the Who, What,When, Why clearly. Know your audience. Include a story. Just starting some teaching and this can also have a place there. So often have heard a really fundamental point left out of what should be said. So much better to leave some other things out, if you can't get to the fundamentals. I have seen attempts at bombast and clever visuals completely leave out the important parts of the point.
