Printing Wall Sized Displays
We experimented with using large format displays in retail to create dynamic contexts that could be altered to match categories and times. Displaying on the walls, floors and shelves. The technology at the time made this possible, but complex to arrange. Now in Technology Review: Research in " ... Adapting conventional printing technology, researchers have developed a way to rapidly and inexpensively make uniform arrays of high-performing transistors out of carbon nanotubes on flexible plastic sheets. The process could eventually lead to a tool for manufacturing large-area, low-power sensor arrays and displays. ... " I also like the idea of adding sensors to the arrays as well ...
