Making Sense of Big Data

In Baseline: Regarding my favorite topic, how important visualization is to analytics.  While here the term Big Data is heavily used, the idea is broader than that. Visualization is always the best first step in understanding business process, regardless of what kind of data is used.  'Making sense' of data is also a good first step, but making that data available for improving process is better.
