Individualized Pricing
The NYT discusses how and why people can be given individualized prices for goods. If course this has been done for a long time. Through promotions. Loyalty programs. Group buying. We are now getting much closer to being able to effectively mine data that reflects our habits precisely. That data can then be traded with the retailer or manufacturer to get a better deal. Expect this idea to continue to progress. The article is a good basic introduction.
