On the Language of Data Science

Useful definitions, also the reminder that Data Science is not only about the data, but also the analytics that will be used with the data, and the business processes to which those solutions will be applied.    I have repeated it in a number of presentations.  It's about Data + Analytics + Process. They all have to be in place to do something useful.  The complexity, speed, volume and volatility of the data has increased much in recent years, so you may need help on your team to make sure that is covered.  But without the other elements you won't get the value you should.
