In the early days we used to have rooms full of statisticians and economists, and we were trained in the craft as well. Yet I don't ever remember the term 'P-value' being used in any serious context. I just reviewed a notebook we used then for technical standards, and the term is never mentioned. That has changed considerably. The following a non technical view of the topic, and how it has expanded and exploded. How do you specify 'malpractice'?
