How Companies Pursue Innovation

Favorite topic, but not my favorite format.  A slide show about approaches to innovation with some interesting thoughts.   I was struck by: " ... Partnering Effort ... 72% of the executives anticipate that their company will increase its investment in projects with outside innovation firms. .... ".  Always good to  look to outside resources, but to what degree?
