Curation vs Aggregation

A good piece on the very idea of the human network. Remember us?  I think there is much to be said for linking together human and Internets in new ways.  There have been many attempts, but none that I would call really successful. It cannot all be about algorithms that winnow knowledge ... clever humans can also contribute.
