Overcomplicating Charts

In Junk Charts. A good example of how a visualization of data can be overcomplicated. A simple line chart is often much clearer, but avoided simply because it does not look artistic enough. You can attract people to see a chart with flash, but will they understand the real data being shown?   Also, think twice about using pie charts.
