First time I have seen Procter do this at a major tech show. But are not really serious about selling charmin roll delivering robots in the smart home.. They still have Tide chatbots for addressing stains as skills in Alexa. Also in Google Assistant. These are spin offs from early chatbots created for delivery via CDs.

Procter & Gamble Co. on Sunday rolled out a slew of new or improved products in advance of the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, including a few fanciful ones such as a robot that can deliver toilet paper to a bathroom that has run out of Charmin.
The Cincinnati-based maker of consumer goods (NYSE: PG) stated at a Jan. 5 news conference that the first-of-its-kind robot, dubbed the Charmin RollBot, can be controlled with a smartphone using Bluetooth technology.
The Charmin RollBot won’t be available for retail sale, but it could help generate buzz about other P&G products that will be displayed.
The Consumer Electronics Show, also known as CES, provides a global stage to show off innovation. More than 4,500 companies are expected to participate, demonstrating thousands of new tech products.
“We strive to make life easier and more enjoyable with the superior products and services our brands offer,” said David Taylor, CEO of Procter & Gamble, in a statement issued by P&G. “CES gives us the chance to show how we are constructively disrupting our business to deliver experiences that reinvent what people expect of everyday products.”The platform, known as Digital Vault, will give investors real-time access to records of securities bought on private markets, HSBC told Reuters, and seeks to capitalize on booming interest in such investments by yield-hungry investors. ....
