Looking for Indoor GPS
A long time goal. Some of the research generally described here. Completely personalized navigation indoors is still not here. Coming to an office this morning it took fifteen minutes to get a Wifi connection. Useless for shopping or alerting. Beacons won't be everywhere soon. And you wont need satellites: " ... Labs in the U.S. and U.K. are working on next-generation GPS that’s so cool, it won’t even use satellites. It will instead take location cues from subatomic variations in the earth’s magnetic field .. "
