Well, yes, Smartphones already change the way most people behave in many spaces. So its natural that once they strongly embed the behavior, it will change how we shop. In our informal Costco study, now dated, we talked to shoppers and the main reason they gave for referring to their smartphone was: " I have it with me ... ". The inference was that there was almost no friction. Even less so at home.
