Redlaser: Scanning Faster

I have been closely following scanner smartphone Apps that read barcodes by utilizing the phones's camera. In particular the Redlaser App has gone through a number of recent updates that are real improvements. The codes are read more quickly and a recent addition lets you read multiple barcodes quickly. I tried it with a shelfful of items and it worked well, each time giving you audio feedback and allowing you to go to the next item quickly. One negative is you still have to align the code on the screen and it has to be upright to work. It is getting much closer to being truly useful for real multi-item ahopping trips. Then you can go back and do price checks on what you have scanned. Much better and faster than other Apps I have tried. Try it.
