A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of seeing a demonstration of an impressive and engaging wall-mounted kiosk from a company called Utiqueshop. Spoke to their CEO and Founder Mara Segal. When I was working in the enterprise innovation center we looked at many kiosk formats for engaging with the consumer, providing information and delivering products and samples. You can see a Quicktime prototype video demonstration here. The IPhone like style is particularly attention getting.
They are still in the early stages, but there are a number of companies interested. Work a look for retailers or CPG companies interested in getting new products noticed. Will continue to follow it in this space.
