One of a number of crowdsourcing games out there in cosmology, genetics and beyond. Several have been around for many years. I like the idea, but have there been actual successes? The combinatorial context of these problems would appear to outreach the power of even a few billion players. How does the gaming aspect drive better solutions? Ultimately the domain of quantum computing?
