You are Being Watched by a Algorithm
In Schneier on Security: You are being watched by algorithms. With the advent of methods that use Big Data to track, adapt and interact based on online sensors. Broad, but very true statement. An algorithm describes a system which uses a set of steps based upon data. It can range from the simplest checking the range of a value, to a complex mathematical operation. It can use the input of a range of databases values, or the reading of a single sensor. Schneier is a worthwhile follow, does a good job of giving a vew of security technology issues.
