Army Powerpoint vs Tableau
When I first read this I thought this it gave the impression that Tableau and Powerpoint were competing for the same purpose. I see them having the same operational purpose. Getting a relatively non technical end user the power to produce value. In the case of Powerpoint to organize text and visual information in the form of side shows for presentation. In the case of Tableau, letting end users create simple and even moderately complex visualizations with data. Same kind of operational goal, with a different kind of basic component. Now being used in the US Army.
