I participated in one of their tests and was impressed by it's overall reliability. The fact that fingerprints are often associated with law enforcement and privacy issues related to fingerprint data were often brought up. When questioned, very few shoppers had concerns about these issues. I also know of no data losses encurred by PBT. An unfortunate step backward for improved payment verification via biometrics.
