A technical piece that won't mean much to you unless you have done professional programming in the last decades. I did some of that in the early days of what was called OOP, and remember misgivings when the 'sharable' aspects of code broke. I don't go there much anymore, but have a deep appreciation of the needs addressed, We all wanted ways to efficiency re-use what others had done, maintenance could be so much easier. No?
