Gestural Interfaces on the Street

An example of gestural interactivity with a screen in store.  We examined early attempts at this kind of interaction on the store shelf.  This appears to be increasing in capability and include smartphone interaction and enabling payment.  In Fastcompany.  I have yet to see this in an actual application.  Like in many advanced technology introductions consumers need to become used  to the idea.  I have noticed in just the last few months an increase of shoppers using smartphone barcode scanners in the store.
