Amazon Alexa at Consumer Electronics Show

Most interesting is that Alexa continues to be embedded into a number of systems.  Amazon does  not want to be in the business of selling echo branded boxes, but wants to be part of the intelligence inserts?    What does the latter buy Amazon?  A deeper ability to influence how real time, voice activated, data leveraged purchase decisions will be made.   And how that will be integrated into the smarter home.    Some indications of directions below:
