Saw this demonstrated at the Apple development conference yesterday. Nicely done. An App for the iPad. I can see some kids getting excited by the step by step aspect of learning this kind. of coding. Incrementally rewarding. Ultimately this is an introduction to programming concepts, not real projects.
Having coded for years myself, it requires a kind of meticulous attention to detail that not everyone has. Swift has been around for some time and is open source. More in Techcrunch.
