Flowcasting

We see that the Retail Systems Alert Group (RSAG) has endorsed Flowcasting from Factory2Shelf as a methodology. I have seen this tested and its useful for its sheer simplicity. Flowcasting should not be seen as a means of future forecasting, but rather as a capability designed to eliminate the need for most forecasting, by using demand data such as point-of-sale information.
