True Omnichannel Retailing

Amazon being Omnichannel.   In Retailwire.  Discussion prompted by Amazon recently opening physical locations.    Of course one way to look at this is the scale of the involvement.  There will likely always be some physical retail, and some online.  But how will  these two channel types compare in scale over time?  How will we adapt?
